Morning playtime at the bookstore. James is practicing his Lego skillz...he can't wait to play with his cousins in mid-August! California here we come!!

Chuck E. Cheese

James went to his first birthday party (other than his own) last weekend. 

And, his first experience at Chuck E Cheese's. 

As you can tell, he fell in love with the mouse! 

And, we learned we do not like rides that move on their own. 

Only stationary ones, like at the playground.

James loves "pup-pups." Well, as long as they don't bark. Here he is with the Carson's beloved Muskrat. I'm not sure what he loved more, playing with the dog, or playing with the dog's crate?!

19 Months!

Weeding with Dad. Or, "Papa" as he still calls Phil. 

I found these two weeding away a few weeks ago, as I was making James dinner. 

Too precious - James took his job seriously (and, inspired Phil to get into action!).
