Magic Kingdom!
Or, as James says, "The Castle!" We honestly did not plan on coming to Disney again so soon, after just having visited here
last year. But, when we had the opportunity to vacation in Orlando again, and we had a few days left on our Disney passes, how could we pass up the visit to Disney? Especially now that James is fully aware and in awe of many Disney characters. Last year was more fun for us, really. This visit was all about James and doing what he loves. And, it's actually really sweet that we can compare pictures from last year to this year at many of the same attractions and see just how much he really has grown. He is one lucky little boy. We may have picked the hottest day of the trip, but we had a blast!
Riding the ferry boat to the castle!
James has arrived (again).
Buzz Lightyear!
Checking out Alice
We saw Tigger and Winnie the Pooh on our way to the Winnie the Pooh ride
He's a little taller this year, than
last year!
LOVES Woody and Jessie
Taking his first ride on a real steam train. Choo Choo!
We rode Dumbo, but it was hot and sticky outside so the 30 second ride lost it's thrill fast
What better way to cool down than hit the splash park? One of his favorites!
Big anticipation for when the water was going to shoot out of the elephant trunk next!
Did we take too many pictures? We did spend lots of time here!
After the splash park, we thought it would be good to take a break and visit some characters that were nearby. James had his choice between seeing Donald and Goofy, or Daisy Duck and Minnie Mouse. He chose to see the ladies, of course.
Big hug for Daisy!
Minnie Mouse! A favorite of many children.
James does like Minnie, but in this moment, Minnie was not his main priority.
What he did see in her background of circus props were balls and things that looked like drums.
So, what did he do? He snubbed Minnie and ran to play "the bongos" on her props.
Poor Minnie. It's not every day she has to crawl after a kid to take a picture with her!
Oh James.
A parting hug for Minnie
James then found the mickey treats.
Hooray for Woody and Chip and Dale! Dance Party in the Street
Watching Mickey's Philharmagic Movie.
He kept the 3D glasses on for much longer than expected.
Its was adorable watching his reaction, trying to grab the air and laugh out loud!
How did we keep James awake long enough to watch the electric parade?
We let him pick out a glowing Frozen snowflake wand, of course.
It's 9 pm. Do you know where your children are?
And then, just like that, James was asleep before we even strolled out of the park.
Good night, Magic Kingdom.
What an action packed, fun-filled day!
