Florida - Disney, Part 1

Oh yes, we did.

On day 1 of our 2 day Disney adventure we explored Animal Kingdom by day, and Hollywood Studios by night.

Animal Kingdom
James loved spotting the animals on the African safari.
Lion King Live Show
Cooling down with his first 'ice cream samawhich'
We met Pluto and Goofy!
I'm not sure what I love more about this picture...
James meeting Goofy for the first time? Or Phil hugging Pluto?
I love these boys.
Instant classic.
 The Tree of Life
Riding a flying dinosaur! Hard to contain the excitement!
Loved it.
(Dare I say even more than flying Dumbo?)

Hollywood Studios
Ahoy!
Jake!
Princess Sofia
Kisses & Hugs for Princess Sofia
Disney Junior Live

We stopped to eat our dinner by this vegetable garden.
James kept looking at the garden the whole time, saying, "Mama! The garden is growing! Hey guys, the garden is grooowwwinggg!" Phil and I could not stop laughing.
He went on for a good 5 or 10 minutes. He was completely interested and serious.
We ended the night with a Frozen sing-a-long show.
Who doesn't love to sing Let it Go at the top of their lungs?!
James sure does.

Before-the-show distraction: selfies.
He also loves hats. Especially backwards.
If you give a James a camera...
My boys.
Entranced.
Snowing!
One very long, but very fun, awesome day!

Florida - Little Model

Following the museum, we headed to lunch. With an energetic two year-old, you can imagine that it is pretty difficult getting James to sit still for a picture, since he is always on the move. However, this moment in time was hilarious in the fact that James, on a walk with me after lunch as Phil waited for the bill, decided his model moment would be right in the middle of the sidewalk, on a busy street, as people walked on by us. He sat right down, totally serious, and said "Mama! Take my picture!" And, he wasn't moving until I did. We are in for it.

James you are too much. We love you!

Florida!

In the beginning of March, we left the freezing temperatures and snow behind, hoping to escape to sunshine in Florida! Well, the first two days may have been a little chilly, but the rest of the week was perfectly hot and sunny. We had a great time, made lots of fun memories, and are now looking forward to SPRING! Enjoy the picture overload, to be divided into multiple posts!
James is two now, which means this was his first flight in his very OWN seat!
He loved it!
Riding through the airport in style.
Although it was too chilly for the pool, we had to check it out when we arrived.
James assumed the vacation position, dipped his toes in the pool and lounged.
He told us "me relaxin," closed his eyes, and encouraged us to do the same.
Balloon artist at dinner made James a knight helmet and sword - the first Mickey Mouse ears hat he made wasn't his style, so Phil proudly sported those. Funny little guy.

Since the first full day was a little chilly, we explored some indoor fun at WonderWorks Museum, an upside down hands-on indoor amusement park adventure. Lots of fun exploring here!
Astronaut James, ready for blast off.
Phil spun himself dizzy in the astronaut training contraption. Yikes!
There. Were. BUBBLES.
James really wanted to get inside a bubble.
We sure tried!
